Berdasarkan Besluit tanggal 5 Juni 1878 No.7 disebutkan bahwa Raden Rangga Suma Di Reja pernah menjabat sebagai wedana Cilokotot afdeeling Bandung. Hal ini sekaligus menjadikan beliau sebagai Wedana Cilokotot pertama yang sejauh ini tercatat di dalam Arsip Hindia Belanda.
